March 15-17th ReginaSpices will be heading to the New England Made Giftware and Specialty Food Show!

"The New England Made Giftware & Specialty Food Shows feature manufacturers of unique, quality New England made products. These juried wholesale shows include home d├ęcor, pottery, apparel, accessories, jewelry, toys & games, candles, books, cards & prints, glassware, bath & body products, furniture, spices, candy, sauces, gourmet mixes, baked goods and other specialty food items. Each year the shows attract thousands of national and international buyers who expect the highest quality New England made products. Current shows: Portland, Maine (March 15-17, 2014) and Sturbridge, Massachusetts (September 14-15, 2014). For more information, please visit www.nemadeshows.com."

I'm totally psyched!  And a little overwhelmed...the folks who produce the show (Giraffe Events) are very supportive and ready to give advise for first timers, like myself.

I'm especially looking forward to being a guest on Deb Neuman's "Back to Business" radio program this Sunday from 2pm-3pm (WVOM 103.9 Bangor and 101.3 Augusta--pod casts of her show are available on www.wvomfm.com).  This show will offer me the opportunity to chat with a veteran trade show participant, Gregg Stewart---I'll definitely pick his brain!

And the following Wednesday I'll be a guest on WLOB 95.5fm/ 1310am ( www.wlobradio.com) with Ray Richardson--at 7:30am.

So far, I have beautiful bright/ light blue fabric for the walls of the booth-- two banner signs and my friends at Allen, Sterling & Lothrop (that funky garden center in Falmouth, Maine) are letting me pilfer their fixtures-- I have my eye on a bright yellow free-standing door and an antique ironing board, this coupled with the things I already have should fix me up.
